How often should I get a haircut?

How often you get your haircut is dependent on how long your hair is. For long hair, it is important to get regular haircuts in order to keep it looking and feeling healthy. Long hair is older, therefore more fragile making the ends very susceptible to breakage. Make sure to get regular haircuts to trim off split ends and keep your hair strong and healthy. We recommend you get your long hair trimmed every eight to twelve weeks. For those with medium hair who would like to keep it the same length, we recommend six to twelve weeks, unless you plan to grow out your hair. If you want your hair to grow longer then trim it every eight to twelve weeks.  If you want to keep your short hairstyle fresh you’ll need to get your hair cut regularly. We recommend those with short hair to get your haircut every four to eight weeks.  Chemically processed hair may need more hair cuts due to the damage-causing split ends. If you are in need of a haircut, make an appointment today with Next Barber Stylist School!
